CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - – Nationally ranked startup accelerator gener8tor is pleased to announce the participants of its gBETA Cheyenne Spring 2021 cohort.
After an application and interview process, five Wyoming startups were selected from more than 30 applications to participate in gBETA Cheyenne’s second cohort.
The five startups come from all across the state and represent a diverse mix of industries including clean energy, specialized computing, and blockchain technology.
Five teams will participate in a free seven-week startup accelerator program that includes intensive and individualized coaching as well as access to gener8tor’s national network of mentors, customers, corporate partners, and investors.
gBETA is designed to help startups gain early customer traction on their product or idea. It will also help startups establish and execute on metrics that make them competitive applicants for full-time, equity-based accelerators or seed investment.
gBETA Cheyenne will be offered twice a year, co-located with the Array School of Technology and Design. In addition to coaching and support for the selected cohort teams, gBETA offers free one-on-one office hours and public Lunch & Learn sessions for the entire Wyoming entrepreneurial community.
“By investing time and energy into Wyoming’s entrepreneurs, gener8tor and gBETA are working to diversify Wyoming’s economy and offer career opportunities for the next generation and long into the future,” said Baylie Evans, gBETA Cheyenne director. “This impressive cohort is poised to bring creative solutions, technology, and jobs to the state.”
