YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -- Rugged 3D, a tech startup working on what could be the world’s first portable, three-dimensional printer for operating in harsh and austere environments, has moved from San Francisco to “the epicenter for additive manufacturing” — Youngstown, Ohio.
Why would a promising tech company move from one of the nation’s leading tech incubation regions to the Youngstown Business Incubator?
“Because Youngstown has become the epicenter for additive manufacturing expertise. Seriously,” said Jim Cossler, Huntington Bank entrepreneur in residence at the incubator, in a LinkedIn post.
