Detroit Startup Week, the free five-day celebration of entrepreneurship, hosted by a Detroit small businesses and members of the entrepreneur community, will be going digital this year as it kicks off its five-day conference online. With conferences hosted in over 50 cities worldwide, the Detroit Startup Week usually draws around 10,000 people, but due to COVID-19, they have decided to be the first city to host a virtual edition of the festival.
Put on by Techstars and the Venture Catalysts team, Detroit Startup Week is powered by Quicken Loans this year and registration for the festival is free. Those looking to learn more about registration can do so here.
This year’s online presentation of Detroit Startup Week will feature 100+ virtual programs that include keynote speakers, workshops, office hours and fireside chats. Detroit Startup Week will also include daily networking and happy hours as well as Cocktails & Conversations programming aimed at boosting connections between individuals.
Fitting for a time when many have found themselves working from home, all attendees will also be entered to win giveaways such as the Dell Ultimate Work from Home Work Station Bundle, YouTube Studio kits and free professional services.
